     WE STARTED OUR COUPON JOURNEY ON MAY 1ST 2011,AND SINCE THEN  WE HAVE GOTTEN SOME OF THE BEST DEALS AROUND .WE HAVE DRASTICALLY CHANGED THE WAY WE SHOP FOR GROCERIES.

 AT FIRST IT WAS A LITTLE AWKWARD GOING INTO STORES WITH FOUR HUGE UNORGANIZED BINDERS TRYING TO USE COUPONS,IM SURE PEOPLE LAUGHED AT US BECAUSE WE HAD NO CLUE WHAT WE WERE DOING.BUT OUR PERSISTENCE,AND PATIENCE HAS PAID OFF.IN OUR FIRST MONTH WE SAVED 80 %,AND EVERY MONTH WE INCREASE THE SAVING EVEN MORE.WE ARE NOW CURRENTLY SAVING UP TO 90% AND EVEN UP TO 100%  A MONTH USING COUPONS.SHOPPING WITH COUPONS HAS SAVED US LOTS OF MONEY AND ALLOWS US TO USE WHAT WE SAVE FOR OTHER EXPENSES.
WE SHOP AT CVS,PUBLIX,WALMART,TARGET,WALGREENS,AND OTHER STORES THAT MAY HAVE A GREAT SALE.

Happy Holidays 2011

In our house our holidays start off on Black Friday waking up at the crack of dawn to get the best doorbuster deals and putting up all of our Christmas decorations. This year we skipped out on the black friday deals because we didnt have the money to get the BIG screen tv or the Samsung Galaxy Tablet Instead we are focusing all of our time and attention on making santa a reality for our 2 yr old. This year was Jaidons first time he was able to help put up decorations and decorate the tree. As well as sitting on the floor pulling everything out of the boxes making a complete mess especially with the TINSLE!!! Next will be the exciting part for us because we get to go get all the gifts this weekend. Jaidons been asking Santa for a bike, so I guess we have to see if he was a good boy or not. Holidays are also the time we share with our family eating, exchanging gifts, stories, and laughter. The best part of it all is seeing all the kids get excited about all the gifts they got and the memories that last a lifetime! Share, enjoy, contrbiute, and have a very Happy Holiday!!

OUR FIRST COUPONING WEEK!!

So my wife comes home and says"we have to watch the show "Extreme Couponers".That was all it took was for us to see one episode,and we were off and running.
We seen the show on Wednesday ,and were anxiously awaiting the Sunday newspaper to come,so we can clip coupons.My wife made an organizer book ,(with the sleeves from our baseball card collection)and we clipped and organized the coupons by categories.Next we were looking at every ad for grocery and department stores in our area.We made a list and planned on sticking to it completely.
Our budget for the week was set at $100.00.Normally that amount just barely cover our groceries for the whole week,but this week was a little different:
Total retail price:$224.29
Total paid price:$73.84
Total saved amount:$148.45,
We saved 67% on our shopping trip,and got two weeks worth of food,and 2-3 months worth of cosmetic supplies,( body wash,razors,etc).I'm really looking forward to see what next weeks savings are gonna be.I will keep you updated.
